how to do it
1. turn on multiple Inboxes {MI} from this link
2.set up a filter to auto archieve all mails sent to your work or college mail address
3.customize one of your multiple Inboxes to show mail sent to your address under same link mentioned at 1.

you can use MI to keep track of email sent to your college alumni address which you can forward to GMail which one can do by use filter and auto achieve and label all these messages but MI is a replacement for these as with MI you can see all these message without being cluttered at one primary inbox
