6 IITians develop Android based tablet PC

 

Using  Andorid(Google's Open Source operating system), six IITians and an MBA, who have formed a technology startup company  called Notion Ink, have designed a tablet PC which they plan to launch in market by June 2010.

The Tablet PC will consist of Nvidia's yet-to-be launched Tegra processor chips and a power-saving display screen from the U.S.-based fables developer Pixel Qi, according to Business Standard.

The tablet pc is named after the company , weighs 770 grams and with features like Bluetooth, a 3-megapixel digital camera with autofocus, video recording and 32GB data storage.

The company is also working on creating digital books, songs, movies and media content for the device.

The Notion Ink Smartpad better be real
