Almost all of the mobile operator provide you internet facility , all you need is just call you customer care to get internet activated and  either download Gmail App to you mobile from m.Google.com or visit directly to Gmail if you have opera mini web browser, but better download Gmail app if you don't have opera mini web browser or the either way

Most of the new Nokia Mobile phones have inbuilt Opera mini web browser you don't need to download and with opera mini web browser , surfing on internet becomes faster than old Nokia web browsers

2. Download the mobile application: Gmail gives application for “Java compatible phones” which promises better speed and performance. you can not download to pc and then upload to mobile you need to download right from your mobile browser ,

Soon  Mozilla Firefox will launch its browser for Mobile phones looking at the growing internet use on mobile phones
